Greg Voreis had always enjoyed an athletic lifestyle. Even after a college football injury and surgery on his right knee, Greg remained active — playing softball, jogging, biking, and water skiing. However, in his late 40s, the injured knee began to limit his daily function; walking and biking became increasingly difficult.
In the summer of 2010, Greg determined that it was time to take action and do something. So, he investigated his options and sought recommendations from various physicians and clinics. “I heard good things about the Missouri Orthopaedic Clinic. And after meeting with Dr. Bal, and speaking with some prior patients of his, I determined that he was my guy.”
Three months after surgery, Greg was in Mississippi on an annual golf outing. Four months after surgery, Greg and his wife and trip to the Florida Keys where they walked and biked every day – something he had not been able to do for quite some time.
Greg expressed his appreciation for Dr. Bal’s down to earth nature, and the way he explained everything. “The Missouri Orthopaedic Institute was cutting edge, the staff was great … and the food was good!”
“I am looking forward to being able to boat and golf this summer, without having to endure the pain and limitations of prior years. I would recommend Dr. Bal to anyone who is in need of medical treatment within his area of expertise.”
